Sandy graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from Kings College London in 1993.

After spending 3 years in the medical core of the British Army, rehabilitating injured service personnel, Sandy went on to gain a Sports Medicine Diploma from University College London in 1997.

In the following years Sandy worked in the busy French Alpine Ski resort of Val d‘Isere and provided Physiotherapy for various sports teams including National level hockey and sports climbers, plus club level rugby teams in the UK. In 1997 Sandy was recruited as the Physiotherapist for the Medical Team supporting the 70 strong British Transplant Team at the World Games in both Budapest and Sydney.

During her work in the Army and the IK national health Sandy expanded her knowlegde and understanding in the additional areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ITU / respiratory care and neuro rehab.

Sandy has been living and working in the Wanaka / Hawea district since January 2000. As a proud Mum of four Sandy is familiar with the joys and realities of family life. A keen mountain biker, mountain runner / tramper she loevs to get out and about to keep her self as fit and healthy as possible while enjoying time with her family.

Sandy feels blessed to be a member of the amazing and possibly unique community to which we all belong and gains great satisfaction from being able to contribute to the well being of her friends and neighbours.

Her aim is to provide this community with a high level of service where each individual is treated with respect and genuine concern, where treatment times are not rushed and each person is treated holistically, in a professional manner, drawing on both time honoured and current research and treatment techniques.
